Thought for the day: It’s time to start building support for the idea of rolling back changes made by corrupt officials because they were corrupt. Poster child: Scott Pruitt. Right now, libs / progs have settled into a comfortable pattern of — yes — enjoying the frisson of his petty corruption and demanding that he be forced out. What’s the win here? That one guy is out of a job, the EPA is gutted, and all the changes he made are written in stone. That’s some win! And of course it’s not just Pruitt, it spans the entire federal government and every entity profiting from it. No, what we need — in advance of the fact — are razor-sharp, intuitive arguments for overturning the work of corrupt public officials and entities.
