I’ve avoided calling myself an artist because I know lots of them and I’m not one — but every so often I have made things that appear in galleries or museums, that art critics write about, that collectors buy, and that even appear in art histories. In short, they pass the “duck test”: if they walk, swim, and quack like art, they’re probably art.
