This is a fascinating twitter thread by Amy Harmon, who does this beat better than just about ayone, imo. But this issue in particular — the dynamics of who gets stigmatized and why — is pivotal, and will only become more important. One version of crazy holds that people who’ve survived C19 are the threat; the other is that those who haven’t been exposed are the threat. Just say no. Don’t stigmatize anyone, ever, on a ‘biological’ basis. Not ever. It’ll be painfully hard, and some (I think many) of us will learn to feel something like the fear and disgust our worst political enemies have claimed in other contexts.
