After McKenzie Wark’s thread on a ‘marxocological analysis of 3D printing,’ the blindingly obvious occurs to me: it isn’t printing, it’s closer to fabbing. And we should be in a neo-photocopy aesthetic phase, except there aren’t any punks fabbing 3D neo-zines or lunatics fabbing the 3D equivalent of cramming their secrets into 8.5x11 objects. Or anything like it.
