Another phrase I’m surprised hasn’t been thoroughly hashed out: “forensic dystopianism.” I’m not a fan of Substack at all, but so many people are; and I’ve wasted too much time on self-marginalizing high-minded refusals — so that’s the name I chose to dump my occasional thoughts over there.
